The Core Media Player est un lecteur audio/vidéo capable de lire n'importe quel fichier. De plus, par un système de "plug-in", il est possible de lui ajouter des supports particuliers. The Core Media Player supporte les sous-titrages, les chapitres et les signets et un menu OSD (On Screen Display) qui affiche à l'écran les actions effectuées par l'utilisateur.
