WinXP gold est tout simplement un winxp classique intégrant la sp1 et les derniers correctifs, ainsi que d'autres programmes remplaçant ou complétant ceux fournis par Microsoft.

C'est tout simplement une installation automatisée que tu pourrais réaliser toi même à l'aide de ce petit dossier de l'ami Formatman http://www.newdimension-fr.net/article/13/page1.html? .

Illégal je ne sais pas, mais ça m'étonnerait que Dell ou tout autre fabriquant utilise winxp gold...
Par contre les fabriquants personnalisent leurs installations de windows en se servant du même principe.
