Besoin D'aide

J'ai acheté ce week end le logiciel Polices Manuscrites et je n'arrive pas du tou a m'en servir quand je scanne mon ecriture il me dit soit il faut etre au moins de 300 dpi et quand je regle mon scanner a 300 dpi mon scanner le rend de couleur noir es normal ? mon scanner c'est un hp scanjet 3400 C
