10ème jour du 10ème mois de l'année pour sortir une nouvelle version de leur lecteur multimédia qui lui même célèbre ses 10 ans ? On dirait apparemment que Nullsoft a le chiffre 10 dans la peau. Mais personnellement j'aurais préféré attendre le 11ème jour du 11ème mois et les 11 ans de Winamp pour sortir cette version 5.5 (qui est pour rappel : 11 / 2).

Bref... ce petit cours de maths est fini.
Winamp 5.5 vient enfin de sortir de sa version bêta et nous promet plein de belles nouveautés à commencer par un nouveau skin du joli nom de "Bento" réunissant, le lecteur et la librairie (et la fenêtre du lecteur vidéo etc etc..) un peu à l'instar d'iTunes et compagnie. Cette même librairie est maintenant capable d'afficher les jaquettes de vos CD (en partenariat avec AOL Music), l'installateur se fait lui aussi plus simple.

Et voici que Nullsoft sort une petite mise à jour de Winamp qui le propulse à la version 5.51.
Sommaire des nouveautés, on pourra signaler que Winamp s'ajoute dans les options de lecture automatique lors de l'insertion d'un CD ou une clé USB, qu'il utilise enfin le module d'association des programmes sur Vista, qu'il possède une nouvelle version de son equalizer certifiée ISO, un décodeur FLV (uniquement VP6 et non H.263) et ajoute une petite colonne "BPM"

Sortie quasiment sans faire de bruit (je parle de bêtas), une nouvelle version de maintenance du lecteur audio de AOL vient de sortir ce soir en version 5.52.
Cette version ne propose que des corrections de bogues, notamment au niveau du support de l'unicode des noms de fichiers et du skin Bento.
