Dois t-on faire le update du bios de cette machine Toshiba satellite 2800/600 car dans la doc je vois ceci:

Procedure for Notebooks:
Just take a 1.4mb 3 1/2 floppy (nonbootable) and unpack the files to it.
Turn off the machine, turn it back on while holding the F12 key or for
newer machines, the key left of the space bar, and the rest is automatic.
It is best to disconnect all peripherals while doing the update.
If you are doing this for the 7010 or the 8000, make sure that the machine is
not in the LAN Docker. This could erase your EPROM's.
BIOS Update installation instructions for the Satellite 1620-1640 1670-1690 1710-1730:
NOTE:
Update the BIOS with AC-Adapter power connected, DO NOT update the BIOS in battery mode.
If the AC-Power fails on BIOS update the machine can be damaged.
1. Unpack the BIOS file to a bootable disk.
2. Boot the Notebook with the disk in the floppy (FDD).
3. The PhoenixPhlash Utility will start and the BIOS will be automaticly updated.
4. DO NOT STOP THE BIOS UPDATE when in process. DO NOT INTERRUPT THE AC-POWER supply to the machine on BIOS update.
5. After the BIOS Utility has completed the update, the Notebook will reboot.
6. Remove the BIOS Update disk for the floppy.
7. The BIOS update is finished and the Notebook can be operated normal.
Procedure for Desktops:
Just take a 1.4 mb 3 1/2 bootable floppy and unpack the files to it.
Turn off the machine, turn it back on and the rest is automatic.
Never switch off the machine during the update!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON PCMCIA CARDS:
If you leave a PCMCIA card in the PCMCIA slot of your PC system during initial boot,
the PC system BIOS will detect the PCMCIA card and send a 5 Volt electric potential
to the PCMCIA slot. If the PCMCIA card in the slot has a 16bit/3.3V configuration,
it is possible that the 5 Volt electric potential could damage the PCMCIA card.
Please check your PCMCIA card, the user manual or contact the card manufacturer/supplier
to determine the specific configuration of your PCMCIA card.
If you use or expect to use a 16bit/3.3V PCMCIA card, we strongly recommend that you
download a modified BIOS from Toshiba's web site to your PC system prior to using the
16 bit/3.3V card in order to avoid any possible damage.
PCMCIA cards that offer a 16bit/5.0V, 16 bit/3.3V and 5.0V dual
support or Card Bus Cards are not affected.
