Rassurez-vous, MyIE2 change simplement de nom et non de prix, pour devenir MaxThon, le développement semblant approcher ce logiciel vers la 1.0, les développeurs ont décidé de changer le nom de leur logiciel. En effet ce navigateur est désormais plus qu'un Internet Explorer modifié, il permet une navigation par onglets, intègre un anti-popup, peut être skinné, intègre des plugins, etc.
Mais cette version ne change pas seulement de nom, elle intègre désormais une 'Astuce du jour', conserve l'icone du tray après un crash de l'explorer, des améliorations de l'anti-pub, etc. Voici le changelog complet (en anglais) :
