Foobar est un lecteur audio universel, permettant de lire la quasi totalité des fichiers audio. Il est très léger, non skinnable, d'interface très simple, sans options inutiles. Il n'est pas un concurrent direct de Winamp, mais est destiné à ceux qui veulent écouter leur musique sans encombrer la mémoire, sans proifter des options inutiles hors lecture de Winamp.Il permet de lire 'à la volée' les fichiers contenus dans les fichiers zip, rar, 7-Zip, etc., permet d'utiliser de nombreux raccorucis clavier, etc.

- integrated commandline tagger in foo_masstag.dll, run foobar2000 /tag:help for info
