Intel Itanium 2 à 1.5GHZ

Intel devrait dévoiller une nouvelle version de son Itanium 2 en février prochain. Le "Madison" (c'est son nom de code;)) en plus d'être cadencé à 1.5 GHz devrait intégrer un cache L3 de 6 Mo.

Pour information, l'actuel Itanium 2 est cadencé à 1 GHz et il est doté d'un cache L3 de 3 Mo...
