VMWare Workstation 4.0

La version finale de VMWare Workstation 4.0 vient de sortir (build 4460). Pour rappel, ce programme permet d'émuler plusieurs PC depuis Windows ou Linux un peu comme Virtual PC.

enfin plus justement il permet d'émuler plusieurs système d'exploitations à partir d'un autre OS.

Ben concrètement, c'est super pratique.
Tu peux par exemple esayer d'autres systèmes d'exploitations sans formater, avec les avantages que tu imagines. Tu peux tester tes installations en mode "Unattend" par exemple, ou tester la compatibilité de tes applications si tu programmes, aussi.
Enfin, franchement, les possibilités ne manquent pas.

j'ai une question, elle est peut-être idiote mais je la pose quand même:
Est-ce qu'il existe un émulateur pour faire tourner un OS de Mac (style Mac OS X) ou c'est vraiment impossible !! :rolleyes:

Pour MacOS, un peu de patience. Apple va porter d'ici peu de temps son OS sous architecture x86. Maitre mot: patience!
