Bonjour,

Je viens de mettre dispo un nouveau freeware dénommé SUMo pour Software Update Monitor.
C'est un logiciel qui détecte et averti l'utilisateur quand des mises à jour sont disponibles pour les logiciels installés sur son PC.
De la sorte les utilisateurs disposent, dans la mesure du possible des dernières versions à jour quand elle sorte et non quand ils sont besoin d'utiliser leur logiciel, comme c'est le cas avec les systèmes de mise à jour automatique propriétaires.

Non car en fait dès qu'un utilisateur de SUMo vérifie un nouveau logiciel, celui ci devient immédiatement supporté par la base.
Donc la "couverture" est très étendue..... et plus de personnes utilieront SUMo (aujourd'hui, environ 5000) plus la base sera "réactive"

Effectivement, c'est plutôt pratique.

Voici une liste de petits désagréments que j'ai rencontré :
  • Le scan du démarrage n'a pas détecté tous les logiciels installés. J'ai donc lancé le scan sur Program Files et je me retrouve maintenant avec tous les programmes en double, voire en triple. Exemple : 7-Zip Console, 7-Zip GUI, etc...
  • Le scan du dossier du Menu Démarrer n'a ajouté aucun programme. Visiblement le scan ne suit pas les raccourcis.
  • Ca serait vraiment pratique que la homepage du logiciel s'affiche dans la page "Télécharger".
  • Les options ne s'affichent pas avec le skin vista.

Sinon, c'est du tout bon, continue sur cette lancée !

Point 1 : Normal, ces logiciels ont plusieurs "sous-executables" différents
Point 2 : Si, mais en fait il est "inclus" dans le scan du démarrage. Avez vous isolé des raccourcis mal gérés ?
Point 3 : Pas évident. Pour l'instant, je recommande le liens FileForum (plus pertinent que Google en général), mais c'est à travailler ...

Logiciel assez mignon et bien utile.

Comparé à Spycam, je n'ai aucun problème d'affichage de la fenêtre des options avec Aero.

EDIT: Un petit conseil. Pour les polices du logiciel, veille à utiliser "MS Shell Dlg" au lieu du "MS Sans serif", comme ça, ça peut prendre en compte les paramètres ClearType de Windows. Sinon les polices sont moches et quasi illisible sur écran plat.

EDIT 2 : Sans oublier d'intégrer le Manifest XP/Vista pour donner un look plus neuf au logiciel.

Voilà un exemple de manifest qui irait à la version actuelle du logiciel.
Par contre je me permet de préciser que mettre ce fichier dans le même dossier que l'exécutable ne change rien (c'est bizarre d'ailleurs), il faudra l'intégrer dans le logiciel ;)
