Sun xVM VirtualBox 1.6.0
 
On peut finalement dire adieu à Innotek car Sun nous offre ce soir une nouvelle version de VirtualBox dont le nom a fusionné avec son ancien virtualisateur alias xVM.
Niveau nouveautés pour une version 1.6.0, on pourra noter la disponibilité du logiciel pour Solaris et surtout MacOS X après un très long état de stase en version bêta, le support du Seamless Mode pour les distributions Linux et Solaris, l'ajout de controlleurs SATA virtuels (jusqu'à 30 disques durs virtuels montable à chaud ! ) sans oublier un support experimental du PAE (Physical Address Extension).

Sun xVM VirtualBox 1.6.2
 
1ère version de maintenance pour le logiciel de virtualisation récemment tombé sous la tutelle de Sun Microsystem, j'ai nommé VirtualBox.
Dans cette version 1.6.2, Sun se permet de faire quelques corrections sur les nouveautés apportées par la branche 1.6 : Les performances du SATA sous Vista, la compatibilité avec le kernel 2.6.26 ou encore quelques problèmes de crash du module virtualbox sous Linux.

Sun xVM VirtualBox 1.6.4
 
2ème mise à jour pour le logiciel de virtualisation de Sun qui nous revient en version 1.6.4.
Au sommaire de cette nouvelle version : des corrections de bugs, encore des corrections de bugs, une petite amélioration et enfin... d'autres corrections de bugs.
