PowerArchiver 2004 9.0 Beta 1

[Toitoine]

PowerArchiver (http://www.powerarchiver.com/) est un utilitaire de compression/décompression pour les fichiers ZIP, CAB, LHA (LZH), TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2, BH, RAR, ARJ, ARC, ACE, ZOO, GZ et BZIP2. Il protège les archives à l'aide de mots de passe et peut aussi les vérifier à l'aide d'un antivirus. Il sait gérer les fichiers codés en XXE et UUE et créer des fichiers auto extractibles au format ZIP, RAR, ACE, ARJ, LHA et BH. Voici donc la sortie de la version 9.0 Beta 1.

Voici les changements majeurs :
[add] 7zip support: create and extract from 7z files. 7zip is an new archive format with open architecture and very strong compression.
[add] New TAR support: now supporting extended TAR specification.
[add] New Explorer View: considerably faster explorer view when going through archives, with completely changed way of browsing through hard drive which is now much like Windows Explorer and it supports explorer shell extensions.
[add] Compression profiles: you can now create and use different compression profiles. It allows you to setup your compression profile and use it throughout most of PowerArchiver.
[add] UNICODE support for 7zip and RAR and better support throughout the application.
[fix] Optimized memory usage.

J'ai utilisé les 2 pendant un petit bout de temps, et je le trouve moins puissant que WinRAR, mais tout de même très bien, et skinnable ;).

euh, PowerArchiver a une interface très semblable à winzip :p

Un très sérieux concurrent à WinRar vu qu'il est payant. Mais comme il est payant, je pense qu'on préfèrera tjs l'original (ce qui crée un format et un logiciel en meme temps) à la "copie".

J'ai utilisé les 2 pendant un petit bout de temps, et je le trouve moins puissant que WinRAR, mais tout de même très bien, et skinnable ;). Pareil pour moi, RAR powa.
