Ce qu'on peut retenir des changements opérés pendant ce mois vont être assez flagrant pour les utilisateurs de Windows, mais un peu moins pour les utilisateurs Linux/MacOS.
En effet le thème de Windows se précise notamment avec l'amélioration de l'intégration dans XP ou Vista, il faudra noter que le thème n'est toujours pas définitif contrairement aux version Mac et Linux qui, eux, peuvent déjà savourer leur thème Proto et Tango.
Une autre nouveauté assez impressionnante, c'est l'amélioration du moteur Javascript. Avec l'intégration de PGO, la vitesse d"exécution des scripts s'améliore de plus de 50% ! Devenant aussi rapide que Safari

Comme on pourrait le deviner par la mention RC1, les développeurs finalisent le plus possible ce qui reste à finaliser.
Les thèmes sur les différentes plateforme sont presque prêts (prise en charge du statut d'inactivité de la fenêtre de Firefox sur Leopard etc etc...) Mais le plus gros boulot qui a été à faire, c'est faire ressembler Firefox Vista à son environnement. Et ben c'est chose faite depuis cette nuit :

Sinon entre la bêta 5 et la RC1, un gros bug concernant le plug-in flash avait fait son apparition, mais il est aujourd'hui corrigé (en fait ça fait 2 semaines qu'il est corrigé) et tout qui reste à faire c'est de corriger les mini-bug au démarrage du navigateur

N'oubliez pas de vous créer un nouveau profil si vous voulez tester la RC de Firefox 3 à coté de Firefox 2 (commande firefox -p sur Windows, firefox -ProfileManager sur Linux (et peut-être aussi MacOS X)). Sinon, il n'est pas recommandé d'utiliser le profil converti par Firefox 3 avec Firefox 2

La suite est simple, si cette version est exempt de bugs, la RC2 sera la version finale sinon elle intégrera les dernières corrections bugs pour le Jour J qui arrivera d'ici une dizaine de jours.

Il n'y a pas encore d'objectifs précis sur ce qu'intégrera Firefox 3.1, mais apparemment le support CSS3 devrait être complet ainsi que les autre technologies dont HTML 5
A l'heure actuelle Firefox 3.1a1pre passe l'acid 3 à 78% et la propriété text-shadow devrait être implémentée demain après quelques problèmes il y a 3 jours et aujourd'hui
Nouvelle version dit nouveautés, et il y en a une sacrée flopée par rapport à Firefox 2.0 :
- Nouveau moteur graphique appelé Cairo (supportant les dernières technologies du web)
- Intégration de Places, nouveau système de marques-page, historique qui introduit des fonctions de tags et de recherche depuis la barre d'adresse.
- Nouveau gestionnaire de téléchargement (permet de mettre en pause un téléchargement et de le reprendre plus tard)
- Nouvelle identification de sites sécurisés (grâce à Larry - voir à l'extrémité gauche dans la barre d'adresse)
- Nouveau gestionnaire d'extensions, plug-ins, thèmes
- Nouveau gestionnaire de mots de passe
- Protection contre les malwares et sites anti-phishing améliorés
- Intégration de l'antivirus (celui que vous avez installé sur votre PC)
- Nouveau Zoom (tous les éléments sont zoomés contrairement à ce que faisait Firefox 2)
- Fuites mémoires colmatées
- Intégration avec le système d'exploitation hôte

En attendant le pari du Download Day semble être gagné, je ne sais pas quel était le record précédent mais +10 millions c'est pas mal du tout
P.S : Par contre j'ai p'tet mal compris, si tu parle du clic sur le menu Marques-pages qui ouvre l'infobulle d'enregistrement d'un favoris au lieu d'ouvrir le menu directement, alors là oui c'est un bug

Suffit juste de l'aider avec l'extension Nightly Tester Tools qui rend toutes les extensions "incompatible" compatible. (me demande d'ailleurs personne n'adopte cette extension au lieu de demander à chaque fois

o Les raccourcis claviers ne fonctionnent plus dans certains cas.
o Les caractères japonais, coréen, chinois et indien ne peuvent pas être entrés (en utilisant IME) dans les champs de texte sous Flash (bogue 357670)
o Firefox 3.0.1 ne pouvait pas être utilisé quand le profil utilisateur était stocké sur un répertoire AFP (bogue 417037)

Effectivement, comme quoi je suis miro, mais ma liste de "bloquer" étant tellement longue que je n'y a pas vu les quelques uns, noyés dans la masse, avec la mention "autoriser"
